OUR STORY
The Odyssey of
the Coca i Fitó
Brothers
TONI
AND MIQUEL
COCA I FITÓ
Born in the heart of Alt Penedès to a family of farmers, Toni and Miquel —brothers, but above all friends— have forged parallel and complementary paths throughout their lives, which ultimately converged in 2006 with the realization of a shared dream: the Coca i Fitó winemaking project.
A winery located in the municipality of El Masroig, in the southernmost part of the D.O. Montsant, and nearly 30 hectares of vineyards sprawling across various municipalities, come together with the aim of crafting wines full of soul and identity, born from the perfect blend of genuine passion and expertise.
“Toni is a passionate and meticulous man. He has devoted countless years to uncovering the secrets of viticulture. His obsession? Understanding the magical relationship between mineral-rich soil and the vine, and discovering the true nature of each grape. I have always admired his career as a winemaker and technical director in small Catalan wineries. It is no surprise that he has been recognized as the best winemaker by the Catalan Association of Sommeliers and the Catalan Winemakers’ Association. I like to think that, as the older brother, many of the things I’ve learned have come from him.”
- Miquel Coca i Fitó
“Miquel is the younger brother and the artist. He has always been a multidisciplinary person, with vision and entrepreneurial spirit, seamlessly combining gastronomy, tourism, photography, and design throughout his career. The new millennium saw him immerse himself in the world of winemaking, collaborating in the global marketing of wines with various Priorat wineries. As the older brother, it was a source of great pride then, and it continues to be so today.”

THE ART
OF SINGULARITY
At Coca i Fitó, we believe that the singularity of a wine is not the result of chance but of causality: the orchestration of a series of fundamental factors that contribute to creating a wine with personality and character.
THE GRAPES
Our wines would be unimaginable without the uncompromising quality of their grapes, largely sourced from our old vines with limited production and cultivated organically.
INNOVATION
From concrete eggs to foudres, the most innovative aging techniques reflect our unique personality.
THE TERROIR
The essence of our wines is defined by the fullest expression of the elements that shape the terroir: the microclimate, soil diversity, the land's orography, ampelographic diversity, biodiversity, and the human factor.
HERITAGE
We are committed to ensuring that our landscapes, with their deep historical roots, continue to express themselves through their wines, preserving our scenic, social, and cultural heritage.
SUSTAINABILITY
Sustainability is not a trend; it is a responsibility. To secure the future of our landscape, we follow our own green path:

Eco-friendly practices: We invest in clean technologies and organic farming methods to produce pure, clean wines while reducing our carbon footprint.

Water management: We work to conserve this valuable resource through efficient methods and water recycling.

Biodiversity: We encourage biological diversity in the vineyard and the balance of its ecosystem by creating natural habitats.

Recycling: We minimize our environmental impact by reusing and recycling our waste.

Continuous training: We promote ongoing education for our team in sustainable practices.
WINEMAKING
ALLIANCES
Since 2011, Coca i Fitó has been weaving wine stories through collaborations with other winemakers. These projects are born from shared passion and synergy, where the fusion of knowledge and efforts with viticulturists from various regions results in truly unique wines. These partnerships strengthen ties between regions and people, celebrating the diversity and richness of the wine world.
